About this home

Our custom post and beam cabin sits on three acres at the end of a private road and borders thousands of acres of national forest. It has been our home for the last 3 years.

It is a rustic home with huge divide views, and you can listen to the river running in the valley below. With national forest next door, you can hike for miles from our doorstep.

We are tucked away from it all, yet close to Nederland (7 miles), Black Hawk, Central City and the casinos (14 miles), Boulder (24 miles), Denver (41 miles) and DIA (63 miles).

Summer temperatures are perfect at 8,200 feet, with great hiking and mountain biking trails from the house. Fall foliage is amazing, with an aspen meadow on the property. Exciting winter activities are all close by, including Eldora downhill and cross country skiing 11 miles away.

Relax in the hot tub on the deck and enjoy the stars. A hand carved 20 foot wildlife totem pole and breathtaking mountain views make this getaway unique.
